History
The Iranian Conferences on Fuzzy Systems (ICFS) and the Conferences on Intelligent Systems (CIS) have had a strong track record in Iran, each being held 18 times and 16 times, respectively. And they have received the continuing support of their two scientific societies, the Iranian Fuzzy Systems Society and the Intelligent Systems Scientific Society of Iran. Their first joint gathering was held as a Joint Congress on Fuzzy and Intelligent Systems (CFIS) in 2007 at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. The cross fertilization of ideas and disciplines lead to a highly successful event in Mashhad, which was subsequently followed events at various universities around the nation, such as the Malek Ashtar University (2nd), Kharazmi University (3rd), Sistan & Baluchistan University (4th), Islamic Azad University-Qazvin Branch (5th), Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman (6th), and Bojnord University (7th).
In addition to CFIS2020, we are particularly pleased that this year’s event for the first time includes the fourth Conference on Swarm Intelligence and Evolutionary Computation (CSIEC2020). As such, we expect the CCI2020 to become the largest gathering of the CI community in Iran and the region.
